The Aksis is the new acid techno DJ project by Anna Kupriienko, one half of the sister duo Bloom Twins. It marks a focused and uncompromising new direction within the electronic music landscape. The name combines “axis, ” a point of direction and movement, and “sis, ” a reference to Anna’s background as part of a duo. Musically, The Aksis sits at the core of Anna’s sound, centered on driving, functional techno with a raw, high-impact edge. On December 12, Anna released the “Cross The Border” remix of the Klangkarussell feat. Bloom Twins track. The release is gaining a momentum reaching 110,000 streams in the first 2 weeks. Live, The Aksis delivers intense, dance-until-you- drop sets. Anna has already performed at Fantazia alongside Miss Monique, Eelke Kleijn, Klangphonics, and Deer Jade, as well as at leading venues in Seoul including Muse and Soho. On December 21, she performed at MEKA Festival in Thessaloniki, sharing the lineup with NIKOLINA, further establishing The Aksis as a fast-emerging presence on the international techno circuit. This project represents a new chapter for Anna, built for the rave, the warehouse, and every dark room in between.
