reworks & NON present AUTECHRE live in Thessaloniki October 4, 2026 — Block33 Support: MDX (Gescom / Skam) · Qebo Autechre, the legendary English duo of Rob Brown and Sean Booth, stand among the most innovative and influential forces in experimental electronic music. Since their formation in 1987, they have continuously pushed electronic music into new territory — evolving from early techno, electro and hip-hop influences towards increasingly complex, futuristic and unmistakably singular sonic architectures. Across a vast body of work, largely released through Warp Records, Autechre have remained committed to experimentation, constantly reshaping the possibilities of rhythm, texture and sound. Live, Autechre offer an experience that goes far beyond the conventional concert format. Performed in darkness, their music unfolds as an immersive journey where structures emerge, mutate and dissolve in real time. No two performances are quite the same, and opportunities to experience them live remain rare. Joining Autechre in Thessaloniki are MDX and Qebo. MDX is the DJ/live alias of Andy Maddocks, founder of Manchester’s influential Skam Records and a key figure within the extended Gescom collective. Closely connected with Autechre since their earliest years, Maddocks has been part of a network of artists and releases that helped shape the evolution of experimental electronic music in the UK. Athens-based electronic musician and sound designer Qebo (Alex Retsis) has been active since the early 1990s, developing a multilayered sound that draws from glitch, contemporary electronic and electroacoustic music. His work has appeared on labels including Basic Channel, Polyend Records and Detroit Underground, while his performances and sound installations have been presented at venues and institutions including Berghain, Tresor and the Greek National Opera. In December 2024, Autechre selected his track “FE1D” for their BBC Radio 6 Music Artist in Residence mix. AUTECHRE live MDX (Gescom / Skam) · Qebo Sunday, October 4, 2026 Block33, Thessaloniki
