Dubbed “the Andre 3000 of techno” by the legendary Derrick May, with roots in Thessaloniki, London, and Berlin, Alex has developed a sound that blends deep grooves, intricate rhythms, and a global mix of influences that blur genre lines. Alex’s DJ style is effortless, yet electrifying, and his ability to take people on unpredictable journeys through house and techno. Georgios Stergiou, also known as Captain GR and most recently under the alias Sterjiu, has been reconfiguring dancefloors since 2008.
